All works submitted to the journal will be subject to a preliminary review process by the Editorial Board to determine their relevance and correspondence with the journal profile and compliance with the criteria and editorial standards described in the Editorial Standards section. If the submitted article does not pass the first filter, it will be returned to its authors within 20 working days of receipt indicating the reason for the rejection.

If the proposed article passes the preliminary review, an evaluation will be carried out under the double-blind review. This evaluation consists of a rigorous review by two referees specialized in the subject, following the criteria established by the journal.

The average duration of the review process is 6 months from the time the work is received until the results of the evaluation are sent to the authors.
