The journal Aportes Nueva Época is permanently open to the reception of unpublished articles on economics and related topics, preferably written in Spanish. However, articles in English and Portuguese are also accepted.

1. The proposed article must not have been previously published or be in the process of evaluation in another journal or any other publication.
2. To submit proposals, authors must first register on the journal's website aportes.buap.mx, and then submit documents through the journal's OJS platform.
3. Upon sending the work, a brief curriculum summary of the author(s) must be attached, including contact information for any clarification.
4. The manuscript length must be 25 to 30 pages for the Aportes section; 10 to 15 pages for the Forum section; and 3 to 4 pages for the Reviews section.
5. The citations, bibliographic, and newspaper references that are included in the body of each manuscript must meet the "APA version 7" system according to the specifications listed in the Editorial Standards Section
   
6. The manuscripts received will first be submitted to a review process of relevance and coincidence with the profile of the journal and compliance with the criteria and editorial standards specified in the Editorial Standards Section. If the nominated article does not pass the first filter, it will be returned to its authors, indicating the reason for the rejection.
7. Articles that meet the requirements will be submitted, without exception, to peer review under the double-blind process, the result of which will be made known to the author, indicating the number of the journal in which the article will be published. Aportes Nueva Época reserves the right to introduce the format changes required on the articles that have been favorably reviewed.
